‘SHADOWS TOO’ MIX

1 Jul 2011

A year or so back I posted up a mix called ‘SHADOWS’ – a mix of old tracks, edited versions of other tracks and new-ish production from K.A.L. Well seemingly this was only version 1, because i just found a second version which must’ve got misplaced (I’ve also lost the original mix files so I don’t really remember what all the tracks are).

I like it a lot so I’ve decided to make this a semi-official KOBRA AUDIO LABS release, free for download from this site, via the releases/downloads bit. I have even given it the catalogue no. dumh004.

details below…

I can’t recall now how or why I started this mess but it was something to do with listening to The Shangri Las a lot… so it was maybe to pay tribute to the producer behind them, ‘Shadow’ Morton. But it also pays tribute to New York, girl singing, cut-up techniques, soundtrack music. But some of it doesn’t do that at all. Who am I kidding?

Please, enjoythis mess.
