Picked up a recent album by FOREST SWORDS whom I know nothing about except for a set of mysterious videos which I’ve only just discovered on the OLDE ENGLISH SPELLING BEE website (i got there via pitchfork)…
I’m really loving the sound of this music, heavy dub bass, kinda cavernous in an 80s PIL/banshees way but with dusty twangy guitars and a modern production style… all that plus the mystery, enjoy it.
The album, ‘DAGGER PATHS’, is out now & I recommend it.
